From First Visit To Final Wipe-Down
A leaking shower tray had rotted the floor beneath, so half this bathroom came out on day one. Once the subfloor was replaced and tanked, we rebuilt it properly: a level-access walk-in shower, a wall-hung vanity for easy cleaning, and anti-slip porcelain underfoot.
All wet areas were tanked before a single tile was laid, pipework was renewed back to sound copper, and every silicone joint was tooled, not just wiped. The customer got a drying-time chart, spare grout and our two-year guarantee — the shower has been bone-dry ever since.
Step By Step The Work Plan
Exactly What We Did
Day one: strip-out to joists, rotten subfloor replaced and tanked.
Days two to three: pipework renewed, shower former set, full tiling.
Day four: sanitaryware, brassware and glass screen fitted and sealed.
Day five: grout, silicone, deep clean and pressure-test sign-off.
