On Site How It Went
From First Visit To Final Wipe-Down
Two kids, one dog and forty square metres of scuffed walls — this lounge needed armour, not just paint. We agreed washable low-VOC coatings in warm white, a sanded-and-oiled oak floor, and layered lighting the family could dim for film nights.
Walls were filled, sanded twice and finished in two coats; the floor was sanded back, oiled and left to cure over a weekend. New dimmers and two wall lights completed the scheme. The family stayed in the flat throughout — we sealed the room each evening and handed it back dust-free.

Exactly What We Did
Prep week: furniture moved to storage, floors and radiators sheeted, cracks raked and filled.
Walls and ceiling: mist coat, two top coats and a crisp white ceiling throughout.
Floor renewal: sand, vacuum, two coats of hardwax oil with a weekend cure.
Lighting and return: dimmers fitted, furniture back, full tidy-up and walkthrough.
